The TAMPA BAY CHAPTER of RIMS would like to welcome you to our website!

As the preeminent organization dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management, RIMS, the risk management society™, is a global not-for-profit organization representing more than 3,500 industrial, service, nonprofit, charitable and government entities throughout the world. Founded in 1950, RIMS brings networking, professional development and education opportunities to its membership of more than 11,000 risk management professionals who are located in more than 60 countries. The TAMPA BAY RIMS Chapter is the largest chapter in Florida with over 120 members.

Our monthly meetings provide an opportunity for the local Risk Management community to network and exchange information. Our professional membership is comprised of agribusiness, construction, manufacturing, service and material companies, municipal government, county government, state government agencies, academic institutions, and insurance service providers from the regional Tampa Bay area of Florida. Please visit our "Chapter Events" page for more details on topics and dates as well as a link to registration for our upcoming meetings.

As a volunteer organization, we could not function without the efforts of its members who volunteer their time, whether in the role of Chapter Officer, Committee Member, or Advisor. We hope that if you are considering joining RIMS, you will attend our monthly meetings and volunteer to serve on a committee or as a Chapter Officer. It's a great way of getting to know others as well as providing the Tampa Bay Chapter with your ideas and leadership.

We hope you find the information contained herein helpful and informative. If you are considering joining RIMS, please let this serve as a personal invitation to you to do so. If you would like more information on how to join, please see our "Membership" page.
